Nothing is quite as good as getting into the pool on a hot day, like we've been having in Twickenham this week ☀️💦
With every splash and every breath, the water feels like freedom — from their first awkward kicks to gliding across the pool, it’s all progress for our pupils.
Their first lessons in Reception class are all about letting go of fear, and learning to enjoying the swimming moments. As pupils progress through our weekly lessons, they are able to participate in inter-school galas, borough championships and our own annual house competition 🏊♂️

As the Artemis II astronauts head for home after conducting a historic lunar fly-by, travelling further from Earth than anyone before and witnessing a total solar eclipse from their spacecraft, we throw back to Year 1`s own study of space.
Crafting their own solar systems, making flaming rockets and studying the first female Black astronaut in space, the children will now be looking forward to Artemis II`s Splashdown on Friday, once the rocket has travelled some 236,000 miles back down to Earth!
