Before half term, Year 6 we’re doing parkour in PE. Parkour is a discipline that involves the free movement through any terrain using the abilities of the body, principally through running, jumping, climbing and quadrupedal movements.
It aims to develop functional strength and fitness, balance, spatial awareness, agility, coordination and proprioception to name but a few. It helps to build confidence, determination and responsibility for ones actions
