The Mall Nursery
Our day nursery opened at 84 Hampton Road, a few minutes’ walk from the main school site, in September 2022. In December 2024, it was rated Outstanding by OFSTED.
Our approach is all about learning through play, following your child’s interests and using natural, authentic resources. The nursery is a vibrant, safe and stimulating environment with a family-oriented atmosphere, where children become confident, happy and independent learners.
Helping with your work-life balance
Our core opening hours are 7:30am – 6:30pm. We offer an early start from 7:00am and extended pick-up time of 7:00pm (by request) to meet the needs of busy working parents.
Situated close to several train stations, the nursery is ideal for commuters who may need to get into London, and our buggy park offers a convenient storage option for families.
Nursery facilities
The Mall works alongside Toddleworld Nursery Management and has created a vibrant, exciting and inspiring environment for young children. The nursery building is high-quality, bright and airy with a large outdoor space for the children to play and learn in.
The nursery children also use the school’s extensive facilities including our heated indoor swimming pool and 160-seat theatre, and draw on expertise from the school’s specialist teaching staff to enrich the Early Years Curriculum.
Progression to Reception
Children at The Mall Nursery are offered a place in our Reception class. They benefit from the familiarity of the The Mall School environment and having friends move on with them. All children in the pre-school year of the nursery will benefit from an excellent transition programme to get them ready and excited for their next school.
