Chitsime Assembly

We were joined by Heather from African Vision Malawi this morning, informing us about how our fundraising has supported our partnership school Chitsime.
The Mall has been partnered with Chitsime School since 2009 and last year we created a food pack for them about ‘Food and Growing’, with them receiving the pack in October 2024.
There are 981 children at Chitsime School with 13 teachers, however they have 8 classrooms and 8 teacher houses.
Our music marathon last year raised over £6,000, funding the building of a teacher’s office, toilets and 48 desks. This makes a huge difference to the pupils’ learning and allows for them to do exams at their desks.
