We asked our pupils for their perspectives on The Mall. With access to a range of incredible facilities including our sports hall, library, art room and theatre, they are able to develop their skills whether academic, sporting, musical, dramatic or artistic. Our pupils have the opportunity to join the pupil council from Reception and during Year 6 can be selected to be a librarian, Head of House Prefect or a School Captain. Our School Captains take on a range of responsibilities and represent the school with great pride.

Reading is part of our culture at The Mall, with pupils able to earn bookmarks for reading an outstanding amount of words, with many of our pupils reading one million words. All children at The Mall have access to our library, consisting of a wide range of books to appeal to their interests. They are able to explore their natural curiosity while at school. Pupils are also able to take part in concerts and end of term shows throughout their time at The Mall, building their confidence and encouraging happiness when at school.

We welcome pupils to join us from Reception to Year 5, and heard from two new starters who joined us this year in Years 2 and 3. All pupils at The Mall are able to grow in a supportive environment and develop their true potential, igniting their love of learning at our independent school in Twickenham.

One of our School Captains tells us of his responsibilities at the school, including helping our Headmaster with assemblies and tidying the playground after break and lunchtimes. Showing us the art room, pupils are able to develop their skill and passion through a range of artistic techniques during lessons and art clubs.

One of Head of House Prefects has informed us about all the brilliant things pupils can do in our library. At The Mall, pupils have access to a wide range of books and reading is encouraged from Reception, with many pupils reading over a million words each term. Our Year 6 pupils can also become librarians, ensuring that the library is kept tidy throughout the day.

One of our new starters tells us what excites her each day about coming to school since joining The Mall. Lunch is a popular choice and break time allows for children in different year groups to mix with each other. Our pupils have the opportunity to join our pupil council, where they can meet with our Headmaster, Mr Gosden, to discuss the school and each class.

One of our pupils who recently joined us in Year 3 informed us about what he enjoys at school since joining The Mall. Exploring the sports hall, we hear from him which sports our pupils take part in during their time here and which are his favourite.

We asked our pupils what they enjoy most about being at school. Our pupils have the confidence to ask their teachers for support when needed and thoroughly enjoy learning. In the theatre, pupils have many opportunities to perform during concerts and end of term productions for parents to watch.
