The Mall Turns Green For World Mental Health Day

29th October 24

teachers having a tea break

On the last day of the first half of the Autumn term, we showed our support for World Mental Health Day by wearing green.

We enjoyed a delicious staff breakfast, organised by our Wellbeing Team.

In assembly, the children and Mr Gosden discussed the importance of wellbeing and how we can keep ourselves healthy. The children learned why we should give support and come together to talk about our mental health, by discussing different examples of nature and trees to see how they thrive or survive, and how a perfect tree may look.

This term our assemblies have allowed the children to reflect on important topics, giving them the opportunity to participate in discussions and share their thoughts with their peers.

We look forward to the next half of the Autumn term.
