Goodbye Mr Price

At the end of term we said goodbye to Mr Price, after 20 years at The Mall and 13 years as Headmaster.
On the final week on term we gave an assembly to Mr Price where all pupils and staff were able to celebrate him. He was gifted a ‘This is Your Life’ book, with Reception to Year 3 pupils writing a bucket list of fun things to do during his retirement and Years 4 to 6 writing their favourite memories of him.
During the assembly, some of the children read their bucket list ideas and memories to Mr Price and we then watched a presentation of his time at The Mall.
Well done to all of the children who performed during the assembly, including Year 2 who gave a fabulous and confidence performance in front of their peers.
We also said goodbye to Mrs Dennis after 30 years at the school, Mr Stock after 25 years and Mr Sturton after 12 years at the school. During the assembly on the last day of term, all pupils performed a rendition of ‘So Long, Farewell’ from the Sound of Music, to say goodbye to them and Mr Price. This can be watched below.
