Junior Sports Day

On Wednesday 12th June, Reception to Year 2 took part in our Junior Sports Day at Sunbury Cricket Club.
Each of our pupils worked extremely hard and did incredibly well in all of the events. They took part in a sprint, long jump, javelin and finished off with a house relay. As the children were scored in their houses, they were mixed between year groups for some events, meaning children of all ages took part in the relay together. Congratulations to Pembroke for achieving the most overall points. And a big thank you to the parents who took part in our parent race and for coming down to watch and support the children. Mr Price and our next Headmaster, Mr Gosden, also attended the sports day and it was a great opportunity for the children to meet him.
It was a very fun and rewarding afternoon for all the children.
We look forward to the Year 3 to 6 Athletics’ Day on Thursday 4th July.
