Church Visit

20th February 23

children sat in a church

Year 6 visited the Catholic church at St Mary’s University in Strawberry Hill as part of their current religious studies work on Christianity. We were met by Father Peter who gave us an outline of the role and rituals of the Catholic Church. He then showed wonderful patience and knowledge by fielding some remarkably deep philosophical questions from our pupils. For many of them it was their first time in a church.
