Year 1 & 2 – Leaning Dome Planetarium

25th January 22

Year 1 are doing a topic about space this half term and had a very exciting morning last week when they visited a mobile planetarium in our sports hall. To enter the planetarium the boys had to crawl through a dark tunnel and found themselves transported into space. They then met Mr Hume who told the boys lots of interesting facts about the sun, the moon and the planets. They then did some star gazing while Mr Hume told them a Greek myth about the stars. Year 2 were also able to join in with this experience today because they missed out last year due to Covid and they had lots of interesting questions for Mr Hume.
