Year 1 explore space

3rd February 20

Year 1 travelled into outer space when the travelling planetarium visited recently. They had so much fun seeing all the planets and learning more about the solar system. In class, the boys have created their own planets using watercolours. Some boys used warm colours like orange, yellow and red to show that their planet was close to the Sun. Others, used cooler colours like blue and purple to create colder planets. A few were eager to create planets that were placed ‘in the middle’ of the solar system and used a mixture of both warm and cold colours.
