Mall School U10 Football Tournament – A team success!

27th September 16

On Friday 23rd September, six local schools joined two Mall teams to take part in the annual U10 Mall School 5 a side tournament. The B team battled hard throughout the afternoon against A teams, with special mention to Harman Virdi, Sam Hall and Aaditya Jhamb who all impressed on the day. The A team had a great start against Radnor House (5-0) with Samuel Amissah smashing 4 goals. The Mall then fought back to defeat Staines Prep (3-1) and draw 2-2 with Willington which meant we progressed through to the semi final. Freddie Hunt scored a crucial goal during this game as did Raiyaan Hussain. The final saw us play Fulham Prep. In a tense first half some great work from Harry Gregory set Samuel away for another superb team goal. There was then no stopping the team as Adam Duff, Matthew Parker and Arun Lal all contributed hugely in the eventual 5-0 win. A superb afternoon of Football!
